MI LIBRO FAVORITO DEL AÑO

Hey babes! ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os traigo un post para hablaros de libros. Como sabéis, me encanta leer (y si no lo sabéis podéis ver este post también con más recomendaciones de libros). Tengo que admitir que este año no estoy leyendo tanto como me gustaría, pero hoy os quiero hablar de una de mis lecturas de este verano. Sé que todavía faltan unos meses para que acabe el año pero estoy segura de que este va a ser mi libro favorito 😉 Os hablo de 'Sueños de Piedra' de Iria G. Parente y Selene M. Pascual. 

Yo tenía muchas ganas de leer este libro porque había escuchado buenas opiniones de él pero en ningún caso me imaginé que me iba a gustar tanto. Desde luego estas dos autoras españolas hacen un trabajo magnífico. Os voy a dejar aquí la sinopsis para que leais un poco de qué va el libro:

'Érase una vez un reino muy, muy lejano donde un príncipe premió a un mago por ayudar a rescatar a una joven en apuros. Encantador. Lástima que nada de esto sea verdad. En realidad, el príncipe sueña con gloria y venganza; el mago, con que sus hechizos no sean siempre un desastre y la joven en apuros, con huir de un pasado que la atormenta... y del recuerdo del hombre al que ha matado. Érase una vez...'

Sueños de piedra (Nocturna Ediciones)

No sabría deciros qué fue lo que más me gustó de 'Sueños de piedra', pero sin duda tengo que destacar la evolución de los personajes. Están construidos de manera muy real y a medida que avanza el relato podemos observar como las experiencias que viven les van cambiando. También me encantó el aire tan feminista que se expresa durante toda la novela. Y por supuesto, el tema de amor. Creo que nunca había leído un libro en que trataran este tema de forma tan profunda y real. La historia de amor está muy bien construida, realmente te metes en la piel de los personajes y sientes lo mismo que ellos. Tengo que admitir que me emocioné leyendo más veces de las que me gustaría admitir (sí, soy de lágrima fácil).

'Sueños de piedra' tiene 573 páginas pero me lo leí muy rápido, había momentos en los que no podía soltarlo. Otra de las cosas que más me gustó fue la forma en la que estaba escrito. Yo al principio pensaba que al estar escrito por dos autoras se notaría alguna diferencia entre las partes de cada una pero no fue así. 

La lámpara de estrella es de New Chic y no me puede gustar más! Es preciosa y queda genial en cualquier parte 😍

De verdad que no puedo recomendaros este libro de manera suficiente, tenéis que leerlo. ¡Yo ya estoy deseando leer más libros de estas dos autoras!

THE BEST WAY TO KEEP YOUR PICTURES WITH SAAL DIGITAL

Hey babes! ¿Qué tal todo? En el post de hoy vengo a hablaros de fotografía, más concretamente de álbumes de fotos. Con la digitalización de las fotos hemos perdido la costumbre de tener álbumes de fotos en papel, algo que yo sin duda hecho en falta a menudo. Llevaba un tiempo pensando en hacer uno y mi reciente viaje a París fue la oportunidad perfecta. Saqué más de 1500 fotos (sí, a veces me paso mucho 😅) por lo que me apetecía tener mis favoritas impresas en álbum. Desde la web Saal Digital me dieron la oportunidad de hacer mi propio álbum personalizable y la verdad es que no puedo estar más contenta. Más abajo podéis ver las fotos del resultado, ¡a mí me encanta! 😍 

El proceso de creación del álbum con Saal Digital es muy sencillo (algo que yo agradecí bastante). Para maquetar tienes que descargarte un programa llamado Saal Design. Esto al principio me asustó un poco pero tengo que decir que es completamente seguro y muy fácil de usar. El programa tardó menos de 5min en descargarse y es totalmente intuitivo a la hora de navegar por él. En Saal Digital tienes diversos tipos y tamaños de álbumes para que puedas elegir, así como también puedes escoger el número de páginas o el acabado del papel. En resumen, es totalmente personalizable 😉 Yo escogí un álbum digital de 21x28 en formato vertical de 26 páginas.

Respecto al envío tarda poco pero no puedo deciros exactamente ya que con mi paquete hubo un pequeño problema y fue devuelto por la mensajería. Sin embargo, desde Saal Digital me llamaron para confirmar mi dirección y volver a enviarme el paquete (sin gasto alguno). Al día siguiente ya tenía el paquete en casa y el álbum estaba en perfectas condiciones. Desde luego tienen muy buena atención al cliente 😊


Hey babes! How you're doing? In today's post I'm going to talk about photography, about photo albums. With all this digital world we have now we've lost habit of having photo albums with all of our pictures, and I really miss that. For a while I've been thinking of making one and my recent trip to Paris was the perfect excuse to do it. I took more than 1500 photos (yes, that's crazy 😅) so I wanted to have my favourite ones printed. The web Saal Digital gave the opportunity to make my own customizable album and I can't be more happy with the result! Below you can see some pictures of the album, I just love it! 😍

The creation process of the album is pretty simple with Saal Digital and everyone can do it. To create the album you have to download a program called Saal Design. I got a little bit scared at first but I have to say that it is completely safe to download and so easy to use. It took less than 5mins to download and it's completely intuitive to navigate. In Saal Digital you have albums of different types and sizes so you can choose your favourite, and you can also choose things as the number of pages or the type of paper. It's fully customizable 😉 I went for a digital album of 21x28 in vertical format with 26 pages.

The package takes a short time to arrive but I can't tell you the exact number of days because there was a little problem with my parcel and it was returned. But Saal Digital called me to confirm my address and send me again the package (without any cost). The next day I received the album in perfect conditions. I have to say that they have a perfect customer support 😊

Si estáis pensando en haceros un álbum de fotos no dudéis en confiar en ellos! De verdad que el resultado merece la pena totalmente 😉

3 EASY STEPS TO GET PERFECT LIPS

Hey babes! ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os traigo un post de belleza. Desde luego no soy ninguna experta en este tema, pero en uno de mis últimos posts (4 outfits + 4 lipsticks) una chica comentó que uno de los pintalabios le dejaba los labios muy secos. Yo antes tenía ese mismo problema muy a menudo pero ahora sigo una rutina de 3 sencillos pasos para aplicarme pintalabios que me ha solucionado este problema (aunque a veces también depende del labial que utilices). Así que para el post de hoy he pensado en compartir estos trucos 😊 Además al final del post os enseño mis últimas adquisiciones de labiales que os recomiendo muchísimo! Y ya no me enrollo más y pasamos con los trucos 😉

Hey babes! How you're doing? Today I have for you a beauty post. I'm not a beauty expert in any way, but in one of my recent posts (4 outfits + lipsticks) one girl commented that one of the lipsticks dried her lips a lot. Some time ago I had the same issue but now I follow a simple 3-step-routine whenever I put my lipstick on that has finished with that problem (but sometimes it will depend on the lipstick you're wearing). So in todays post I've thought about sharing these tips with you 😊 And also at the end I will show you my latest lipstick purchases that I recommend you a lot! And now let's go with the hacks 😉

1º Paso. Exfoliar los labios. Para mí este es el paso más importante. Lo primero que hay que hacer es aplicarse un poco de cacao en los labios. A continuación lo que hago es coger un poquito de azúcar (la que tienes en la cocina vale perfectamente) y aplicarla sobre los labios frotando de manera suave. No hay que hacerlo demasiado fuerte ya que puedes llegar a dañar tus labios. Al frotar con azúcar lo que haces es eliminar las pieles muertas del labio para que se te quede completamente liso y suave. Una vez que has terminado retira los restos con agua hasta que no quede nada de azúcar.

1º Step. Exfoliate your lips. For me this step it's the most important. First you have to apply a little bit of vaseline on the lips. Next I take some sugar (the one you have on kitchen it's perfect) and apply it over the lips. You have to scrub gently your lips. Do it with care because otherwise it can hurt your lips. The sugar will eliminate the dead skin of your lips and will leave them soft. Once you have finished, retire the rests with water until there is no sugar left.

2º Paso. Aplicar cacao. Una vez que hemos terminado la exfoliación pasamos a aplicar de nuevo un poco de cacao en los labios. De esta manera le das un poco de hidratación que nunca viene mal. La mayoría de veces suelo utilizar pintalabios mate y a veces estos tienden a resecar los labios, por lo que si nos ponemos un poco de cacao antes de aplicarlo nos dará un poco de hidratación extra. 

2º Step. Apply some vaseline. Once you're finished with the exfoliation part, you have to apply some vaseline on your lips again so give it a little bit of hydration. Most of the time I will use matte lipsticks and sometimes they tend to dried your lips, so if we put some vaseline before applying the lipstick it will give us some extra hydration.

3º Paso. Pintarte los labios. Ahora ya vamos con el último paso: pintarnos los labios. Después yo siempre me aseguro de quitar los restos sobrantes "posando" mis labios sobre un trozo de papel. Y voilà! Ya tenemos los labios perfectos 😉

3º Step. Painting your lips. Now let's go with the last step: painting your lips. I always make sure to take off the rests just 'giving a kiss' to a piece of paper. And voilà! Now we have perfect lips 😉

Con estos pasos a mí me dura bastante el labial y no se me suelen resecar los labios (y eso que soy bastante propensa a ello). Os animo a que probéis esta rutina porque os aseguro que funciona!

Following these steps help me to maintain the lipstick on and my lips don't get dried (even though my lips tend to get dry a lot). I encourage you to try this routine because it really works!

Y ahora os enseño mis dos últimas adquisiciones de labiales. El primero es de Maybelline y es 547 Pleasure Me Red de los Color Sensational. Tiene un color rojo precioso y huele genial!! Es el labial que mejor huele de los que tengo, me encanta el olor jajaja. Y el segundo es de Mercadona (si, Mercadona), de la nueva línea de labiales Color Fix en el tono 05 (el más oscuro). ¡Os recomiendo muchísimo estos labiales! Primero los vi recomendados en un vídeo de Youtube y después me los recomendó una amiga también, y la verdad es que son geniales. Son mate y de larga duración (realmente duran mucho) y cuestan solo 3,50€. Hay 5 tonos disponibles y la verdad es que son todos preciosos, quería tenerlos todos! jajaja

And now I show you my two latest lipsticks purchases. The first one it's from Maybelline and it's the 547 Pleasure Me Red of the Color Sensational. It has a cute red color and it smells so good! I love it hahaha. And the second one it's from Mercadona (a spanish supermarket), from the new line Color Fix in the color 05 (the darkest one). I really recommend this lipsticks! THE BEST 2,99€ LIPSTICK

Hey babes! ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os vengo a hablar de un tema un poco diferente, belleza. No soy ninguna experta en el tema y además hace bien poco que me aficioné a ello, pero hoy quería hablaros de dos de mis pintalabios favoritos. Hace un tiempo, viendo un vídeo de Youtube de Raquelreitx, descubrí los pintalabios de Magalast Lip Color de Wet n Wild. Ella decía en el vídeo que costaban 2,99€ y que eran unos de sus favoritos (y eso que tenía muchos pintalabios jajaja). Así que me picó el gusanillo y decidí probarlos.

I'm not an expert and I've only been interested in it for a little while now, but today I wanted to talk about two of my favourite lipsticks. Some months ago I was watching a Youtube video from Raquelreitx, and she mentioned the Megalast Lip Color lipsticks from Wet n Wild. She said they were 2.99€ each and they were some of her favourite (and she got plenty of lipsticks hahaha). So I got curious about them and decided to try  them.

El primero que me compré fue el de Rose-bud y ¡me encanta! 😍 Tiene un color rosa nude precioso y lo mejor es que dura un montón. Tengo pintalabios más caros que duran menos, así que son perfectos en relación calidad precio. Tampoco resecan nada los labios (algo bastante importante). Después probé el Stoplight Red de una amiga (Hola Marta 😉), y me gustó tanto que acabé comprándolo yo también jajaja. El color me gusta mucho y me parece perfecto para verano. Por cierto, podéis comprarlos online o en las tiendas Primor. 

The first that I got was Rose-bud and I love it! 😍 It has this pink nude color and it really lasts. I've got more expensive ones that last less, so the quality is really good. And they don't make your lips parched or dry (which is really important for me). After that I tried the Stoplight Red from a friend (Hi Marta 😉), and I liked so much I ended up buying it hahaha. I really like the color and I think it's perfect for summer. By the way, you can purchase them online or on Primor stores. 

 Os recomiendo que probéis estos labiales si no lo habéis hecho, seguro que os gustan. Además son adictivos, ahora quiero todos los colores jajaja 😉 

I would highly recommend you try them if you haven't yet, I'm sure you'll like them. But I warn you, they're addictive! I want them all now hahaha 😉

3 BOOKS THAT WILL MAKE YOU FALL IN LOVE

Hey babes! ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os traigo un post para hablaros de algunos de los libros que más he disfrutado últimamente. Como dije en el post anterior (aquí), me encanta leer. Es algo que disfruto muchísimo desde que era pequeña. Además me encanta descubrir nuevos libros que leer. Por eso hoy os quiero hablar sobre tres libros que me han gustado por su historia y sus personajes. Los tres tienen una historia de amor, pero cada una es diferente. A mí me encanta leer este tipo de libros, así que si sabéis alguno de este estilo ¡decídmelo! 😊

Hey babes! How you're doing? Today I have for you a post about some books I've recently read and enjoyed. As I said in the previous post (here), I love reading. It's something I love since I was little and I love discovering new books to read. That's why I wanted to share with you three books I really liked. They all tell a love story, but each one tells it differently. I love reading this kind of books, so if you know some good love books I'd love to hear it!😊 

Un beso en París de Stephanie Perkins. Había leído tantas opiniones buenas sobre este libro antes de leerlo que tenía un poco de miedo por las expectativas tan altas que tenía. Pero a la vez también tenía muchas ganas de leerlo. Este libro nos cuenta la historia de Anna, una chica americana, a la que envían a un internado en París. A ella no le hace ninguna gracia ir, ya que no quiere empezar una nueva vida y tampoco sabe nada de francés. Pero en París conoce a St Clair, un chico encantador que tiene novia. Y ya no os cuento más para no hacer spoiler jajaja. Este libro me encantó por la forma que tiene la autora de contar una historia tan sencilla de una manera tan especial. Las descripciones de París te trasladan a la ciudad y ¡no podía contener mis ganas de ir! Es una historia muy dulce que te mantendrá leyendo hasta el final. Además este libro es el primero de una trilogía que contiene además los libros "Lola y el chico de al lado" y "Felices por siempre jamás". Los libros se pueden leer en desorden ya que los tres tratan historias diferentes, pero en cada uno de ellos aparecen como secundarios los personajes de los otros libros.

Anna and the french kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I've read so many good critics of this book before I read it that I was bit a scared of the high expectations I had. But at the same time I really wanted to read it. This books tells the story of Anna, an american girl who is sent to a boarding school in Paris. She doesn't want to go because she doesn't want to start a new life and also she can't even speak french. But in Paris she met St Clair, a charming boy who has a girlfriend. And I won't say anymore! hahaha. I really liked this book because of the way the author has of telling a simple story in a special way. The descriptions of Paris were really precise and while reading it I couldn't stop thinking about going to Paris! It's a sweet story that will keep you reading till the end. Also this book is the first one of a trilogy which include the books 'Lola and the boy next door' and 'Isla and the happily ever after'. You can read them in disorder because all three tell different stories, but in each one of them appear as supporting characters the characters from the other books.

El tiempo entre nosotros de Tamara Ireland Stone. Este es el libro de la foto de arriba, y para mí tiene la portada más bonita que he visto nunca 😍. En cuanto oí hablar de este libro me llamó la atención, ya que sus temas principales son el amor y los viajes en el tiempo. El libro narra la historia de Anna, que vive en Chicago en 1995, y de Bennett, que vive en San Francisco en 2012. Aunque no tendrían que conocerse, un incidente lleva a Bennett a entrar en la vida de Anna y juntos vivirán una historia de viajes, aventuras y amor. Pero ambos tienen que luchar a contrarreloj si quieren seguir estando juntos. Tengo que reconocer que al principio me costó un poco engancharme, pero una vez que fui avanzando me fue gustando cada vez más. Además en la historia nos cuentan varios viajes, así que si te gusta viajar este libro es para ti 😉 "El tiempo entre nosotros" forma parte de una bilogía que continúa en "Una y otra vez" (que también tiene una portada preciosa). Este libro todavía no me lo he leído pero la verdad es que me apetece bastante continuar con la historia.

Time between us by Tamara Ireland Stone. This is the book of the first picture and it has the most beautiful cover I've ever seen 😍. As soon as I heard about this book I caught my attention because its two main points are love and time travel. It tells us the story of Anna, who lives in Chicago in 1995, and Bennett, who lives in San Francisco in 2012. They were never supposed to meet, but an incident brought Bennett to Anna's life and together they will go through a story of travels, adventures and love. But both of them have to fight against the clock if they want to stay together. I have to admit that it took me a while to get caught on the book, but then I started to like more and more. And it also tells us about some trips the characters make, so if you like traveling this book is for you 😉. The story of 'Time between us' continues in book 'Time after time' (which has also a beautiful cover). I haven't read this one yet but I would really to continue with the story.

#KissMe 1: Prohibido enamorarse de Elle Kennedy. Este ha sido el último libro de los tres que he leído y me ha gustado mucho. Al igual que con "Un beso en París", había escuchado muchas buenas críticas y llevaba bastante tiempo con ganas de leerlo. Es un libro que pertenece al género Young Adult, osea que va dirigido a un público no tan juvenil (osea más de 15 años más o menos). Este libro nos habla sobre Hannah, una chica universitaria que ha encontrado por fin un chico que le gusta. El problema es que no sabe cómo acercarse a él. Así que para ello hace un trato con Garrett, el chico más popular del campus: él necesita que Hannah le ayude a aprobar un examen, y a cambio puede ayudarla a poner celoso a cualquier chico. Pero después de besarse, las cosas dejan de ser tan fáciles. Yo creo que este fue el libro que más me enganchó de los que os hablado. Es bastante realista en muchos aspectos y te mantiene con ganas de saber más. Puede parecer la típica historia romántica pero no lo es. Si estáis buscando algún libro que leer de este estilo dadle una oportunidad, porque seguro que os sorprende y os gusta 😊. Además, también forma parte de una trilogía que continúa en "#KissMe 2: Objetivo tu y yo" y "#KissMe 3: Inmune a ti". Ocurre igual que en el caso "Un beso en París", los libros se pueden leer desordenados, pero en cada uno se menciona a los personajes del los demás libros.

#Off-Campus 1: The deal by Elle Kennedy. This is the last book that I've read and I liked it a lot. I have also heard many good critics of this one and I have been wanting to read for a while. This book belongs to the Young Adult genre, which means that its target public is for teens of more than 15 years old (more or less). This book tells us the story about Hannah, a university girl who has finally found a boy that she really likes. The problem is that she doesn't know how to reach him. So she makes a deal with Garrett, the most popular boy of campus: he needs Hannah to help him pass an exam, and in return he will help her to make jealous any guy. But after they kiss, things will stop being so easy. I think this was the book I caught on the most. It's really realistic in most aspects and it keeps you going through the pages. It may seem as the typical love story, but it isn't. If you are looking for a book of this style give it a try, I'm sure it will surprised you and you will like it 😊. And this book is also the first part of a trilogy, which continues with 'Off-Campus 2: The mistake' and '#Off-Campus 3: The Score'. It happens the same as in 'Anna and the french kiss', the books can be read in no order, but they all mention the characters of the other books.

1. Veo demasiados vídeos en Youtube. Sí, es un vicio. Hace unos tres o cuatro años una amiga me descubrió el mundo de las youtubers de moda y maquillaje y desde ese momento ¡no he parado! Empecé solo viendo dos youtubers pero a partir de ahí fui descubriendo más gente y más me gustaba ver vídeos. ¿Vosotras también veis  vídeos en Youtube? 😉
1. I watch too many Youtube videos. Yes, it's an addiction. Three or four years ago a friend showed me the Youtube world of fashion and make up and since then I haven't stopped watching videos! I started watching two youtubers only but from there I discovered more and more youtubers that I loved. Do you watch Youtube videos too? 😉


2. Soy muy fan de Harry Potter. Me he leído los libros más veces de las que puedo contar y los he leído tanto en inglés como en español (sí, me gustan mucho jajaja). Y por supuesto también me encantan las películas. Aunque para mí toda la saga es perfecta, si tuviera que elegir un solo libro como favorito sería Harry Potter y el Cáliz de Fuego.
2. I'm a Harry Potter fan. I've read all the books more times than I can count and I've read them in Spanish and English (yes, I really like them hahaha). And of course I love the movies. Even though all the books are perfect, if I had to choose just one my favourite would be Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.


3. Me encanta ir sola de compras. Cuando era más pequeña ir de compras sola me parecía impensable, pero desde hace un tiempo ¡me encanta! Disfruto mucho más cuando voy sola y puedo estar todo el tiempo del mundo en una tienda o probándome la ropa. 
3. I love going shopping alone. When I was younger I didn't even crossed my mind that someday I'd enjoy going shopping alone, but the truth is that I love it! I enjoy it a lot more when I go alone and I can spend all the time that I want in a shop or in the fitting room.


4. Soy bastante indecisa. Este es otro de los motivos por los que me gusta ir sola de compras, porque al ser tan indecisa puedo estar un buen rato en el probador antes de comprar algo y normalmente la gente se cansa de mí 😅 Pero sí, normalmente me cuesta bastante decidirme a la hora de tomar una decisión. Eso sí, cuando decido algo no suelo arrepentirme.
4. I'm very indecisive. This is another reason of why I like going shopping alone. I'm so indecisive that I can spend a lot of time in the fitting room deciding if I should by something or not so usually if I'm with people they will get tired of me 😅. But yes, I normally take a lot of time to make a decision. But when I have decided something I usually don't regret it.


5. Me encanta leer. Es uno de mis hobbies desde que era pequeña, porque desde que aprendí a leer no he parado jajaja. Siempre es algo que me ha gustado mucho y que disfruto haciendo 😍
5. I love reading. It's been one of my favourite hobbies since I was little because since I learnt I haven't stopped doing it hahaha. It's something that I've always loved and really enjoy.


6. Soy pésima en todos los deportes. Creo que no hay ni un solo deporte que se me de bien, y menos si dicho deporte implica el manejo de alguna pelota 😅

WHAT TO WEAR TO WORK OUT + DISCOUNT

Hey babes! ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os voy a hablar de ropa, pero de ropa de deporte. Todos los que me conocen saben que soy la persona menos deportista del mundo ya que se me dan mal TODOS los deportes... pero en los últimos años he estado yendo al gimnasio para mantenerme un poco en forma ;) Aunque a mí lo que más me gusta es ir al gimnasio a las clases de zumba. Por eso hoy os voy a hablar de lo que suelo ponerme para hacer ejercicio. La verdad es que soy bastante básica a la hora de la ropa deportiva y voy siempre con leggins negros o grises, mis deportivas, una camiseta de tirantes o manga corta y una chaqueta, no me complico mucho! jajaja. Aunque ya sabéis que cuando tienes ropa que te gusta y con la que te sientes agusto te dan más ganar de ponértela y hacer deporte! ;) Así que siempre viene bien tener algunas prendas más "especiales" que nos levanten el ánimo y nos animen a ir al gimnasio.

La chaqueta de las fotos es de la marca Zumba, y es súper cómoda. Es fina pero es de muy buena calidad, así que es perfecta para hacer deporte. Hey babes! How you're doing? Today I want to talk to you about work out clothes. Everyone who knows me can tell you that I am the least sporty person in the world because I'm bad at every single sport... but in the last few years I've going to the gym to stay fit. What I really enjoy when I go to the gym are the Zumba classes. So today I'm going to talk about the clothes I usually wear when I work out. To be honest, I'm pretty basic when it comes to sport clothes so I usually wear some black or grey leggins, sneakers, a short sleeve T-shirt and a jacket. As you can see I don't put that much effort in dressing up. But you know that if you wear some clothes you feel happy and comfortable about you will be more willing to wear it and work out! ;) So it's always a good idea to have some "special" items that cheer us up to go to the gym.

In this pictures I show you a jacket from the brand Zumba, and it's super comfortable. It's thin but also good quality, so it's perfect to work out. I'd suggest you look at their website because they have a lot of sport clothes you can find interesting.
